Thank you Elaine, Margaret, and Connie. Margaret, my blog is still there, but has been sorely neglected for quite some time. Guess I need to try to update more often, just a matter of time. This stitch is a needlepoint stitch, and reminds me of some of the Jean Hilton stitches, but I really don't know what it is or where I got it from.

Really like this design but sorry Cindy do not know what it is called, have been looking through various books but no luck. Also went on your blog and tried to leve a message but it said it had expired, not sure what that meant whether it was the message or your blog!!

I was hoping that somebody can tell me what this stitch is that I used in the center of the ornaments. I  found it in a magazine a long time ago and need to know what it is.
