Stem stitch nostalgia-2

A close up view of the stem stitched horses I worked over 35 years ago. It is in constant use, and still washes and irons up beautifully.

The linen was of good quality then and I still have many pieces I did as a child.  It washes well and irons up well too.  Mum used to starch hers.  Nice trip down memory lane with your piece xxx

LInda, your horses are beautifully done. It is a wonder - that after 35 years they are still looking so "young" - good quality of stitches and fabric!
