steen

As my maternal grandma died last Saturday, I thought making a pebble would be appropriate. I will place it on her coffin during her memorial on Wednesday. I think these pebbles are a good metaphor for life itself.

it is sad to hear about your grandma...grandmas are such wonderful people, aren't they?  Your work is lovely and I know she looks down on you and appreciates the beautiful memorial you created.

Heel mooi dat je zoiets bijzonders als deze steen voor haar gemaakt hebt.

Jessica, I believe a woman's hands create from her heart. Over the years, no doubt your Grandma's hands showed the depth of her love. Now, you have created something special for her, with each stitch of this pebble. It is beautiful.

Blessings to you and yours during this difficult time.

Oh Jessica,  I have tears in my eyes reading about your Grandma and this tribute you have made for her.  What a wonderful thought and so appropriate, a bit of yourself going along with her.  I am sure if she is like my gramma (97 years old) she has been a "rock" for you at times.  Such a perfect symbolic piece.

Hello Jessica,

so sorry to read about your grandma. The idea of making her a special stone is very nice. The stone looks so great. Have you got an instruction to do those stones? I would like to try one by myself.
