This is the most beautiful "re-embroidering" (I don't know if it's still called that) I have seen in a very long time.  The fabulous fabric and your stitching are perfection.

Very pretty. In India we call it ambi (raw mango) design.  Still very popular here.

I really love this pattern. In my research, I found several names, like Kashmir, Tear distorted, Mango, Mankolan, Persian Picles, Welsh pears, Boteh, Paisley... and various theories about. All beautiful and lovely histories.

lovely embellishing.The Paisley design was originally called Kashmir work until the factory in Paisley(Scotland) made them .
