The stitches don't show, but I sewed all the way around the edges of the embroidered area with thread matching the front fabric. (It shows a little bit on the chickadee ornament because I used green thread matching the back.) Then I pulled threads from the front fabric to make a narrow fringe.

I like all three of your ornaments, and this one is my favorite. I also like how you give details in your descriptions. I am wondering how you attach the two linen fabrics together. Please let me know.
