Thank you, Sharon.  The quilt itself is very linear and I like to oppose that with curves.   The purple is just ribbon twirled and stitched down here and there, while the red rat-tail braid is counched.

Your whimsy quilt is lovely... the colors, yummy... I really love the swirling patterns in the surface design too...

Thank you for your kind comments, everyone.  It was good to finish this little quilt last week.  Margaret, I love putting colours together that you wouldn't think would work.  You never know what will happen, and it's usually good.  Serendipity.
