I went to a workshop last Saturday to learn how to attach the mirrors and made this small sampler when I got home. I learned that, whereas I always thought that the mirrors were attached with buttonhole stitch, the traditional way is to actually use herringbone stitch. Getting them to look really neat takes practice and my perfectionistic streak is bothered that they look a bit messy. Must practice!
