Cheryl, thank you so much for your lovely comment. The white fabric is osnaburg. I love its rough texture. I read somewhere that it is sometimes called "poor man's linen". That's a perfect description.
Not having read the story behind yet I can just say this piece is very appealing. The soft denim, the frayed fabric, the bright heart...
Saw this then read your blog. Perfectionism is such an impediment to so many things - art, self, life..... The heart is a special symbol for me. It doesn't appear in my art as much these days but I still love them. Great piece - the frayed hem of the jeans really added interest. What kind of fabric is the white?
