Stitched in ladder, chain & split stitches on cotton printed from my computer twice - once with the colours the second time with the window. Swarovski crystals represent the stained glass portions.

A beautiful sentiment for a beautiful cathedral. Nicely stitched.

Thankyou Sharon, & all of you for your kind comments! We are all sad here too because there was no need to take the cathedral down even though it was extensively damaged. The Canadian bishop here has no concept of what it means to us. It was an icon for Christchurch. Experts said that it could have been repaired but she was determined. Most of the damage was from the quake & it was dangerous but it has been taken down to a safe level meantime. I am quite chuffed to be top of the leaderboard with thanks to the members.
Lynette - I loved that Cathedral - I have not been back to Christchurch since the quake but every time I think of the place I am sad. My daughter studied at Circo Arts there. I want to say congrats for reaching number 1 on the leader board and thanks for sharing.
