Hi Lorelei, yes the design is my own with the idea stemming from a piece of patchwork fabric which had ginkgo leaves printed on it. I re-drew some of the leaves to make it a pleasing shape to fit in with my ideas.

The pulled thread part of this is a very good design.  Is it your own?  I like the assymetrical aspect, with different shapes of petals to fill, and different ways of filling them.  Also leaving some blank, or with just a few eyelets gives a very artistic effect.
