Portuguese Whitework handtowel

Just one of the many projects from my new book "Portuguese Whitework: Bullion Embroidery from Guimarães". I loved working this style of embroidery so much. When I first saw it, it was unlike anything I had ever seen before, and I thought to myself "I have to know more about that embroidery!" Learn more I did, and I now consider it to be my new favourite form of embroidery!
