Pocket for the Mango Bride

An embroidery on Irish linen based on a concept by Lee Westfield. This little bag features pulled threadwork, metallic threads, bullion roses, picot leaves, tiny sequins and faux pearls. It is lined with my orange wedding dress fabric - thus the 'Mango Bride' of the title.

Thanks, Starr. Perhaps I should keep my Indian arrow heads in there. They are lovely treasures and deserve a nice place to live - I think you you every day when I look at them!
