The pink puffy flower is applique that has been padded underneath. The are very small. The daisy petals are the same technique.

What technique is that pink puffy flower if you don't mind me asking?  It looks like hollyhocks to me, but I don't think I've seen that technique?  It sort of looks like puffy felt.  Sorry if this is a stupid question!! I've just recently gotten back into embroidery and there are so many new techniques that we didn't used to have!  Wish I could zoom in to see it better!  You are so inspiring to me...love all your work.
