Shirley,  it is a dip dyed thread; just to ad a bit of interest to what I thought was a pale colour.

Your bullions are excellent Barbara is that an overdyed thread, the colours are lovely and very effective.   The bullions look good sitting on that needleweaving.

Love your color palette and the stitches as well!  Have you ever done the Drizzle stitch? It is a Brazilian stitch and is like a bullion but only attached at one end!!
