Needlepoint chair

I usually don't upload pictures of work that is no my own, but after seeing Nicola's chair I thought of my mother, she stitched this chair about 60 years ago, and when she passed away I didn't have the heart to auction it off among a lot of other things in her home, I had it shipped from Denmark to the US, and I am so glad I did, it reminds me of her every day.

Wow, Connie, this chair is so beautiful, and such a special chair that you have. I'm glad you had it shipped so you can care for it and pass it down to one of your daugthers. I can see that the apple does not fall far from the tree....your Mom was a beautiful stitcher, and so are you. Thank you for sharing.

This chair is amazing.  I can see where you got your talent.  Your mother did a beautiful job on this and how wonderful that you have kept it.
