My Artistic Impression of Anne Of Green Gable Journal Page

My Artistic Impression of Anne Of Green Gable Journal Page

For the last 1 1/2 years off and on I have been creating the AOGG Journal Page as a Memory of my trip to PEI in 2010. It is 8 X 8 inches.

The scene includes the Green Gable House, Anne's beloved Gardens, Haunted Woods, Natural Brownish Red Roads of PEI and the most famous Lake Of Shining Waters.

I have used many stitches which include, Blanket, Buttonhole, Blanket Stitch Pinwheel, Cast-On, Colonial Knot, Drizzle, Extended French Knot, Ghiordes Knot, Open Base Picot, Running Stitch, Ruched Ribbon, Satin and straight stitch.

I created Tyvek beads for the body of the Butterfly and the 2 wee logs in the pond. I also used Angelina Fiber to make the clouds.
