I make these on a flat loom in a random manner. Each one is truly unique and I have made them in many colours,of all differnet materials. Its a good way of using your ort pot, because it dosent matter what length the bits are. I have also found that by weaving in a "loose" manner produces a real textured and 3D effect when the scarf is taken off. If it is tight, then it produces a "flatter" finish.

Wow - I thought perhaps you had nuno felted the scarf then needle felted the decorative yarns onto it - but no, it's woven. Lovely and outrageous. Well done. Thank you for sharing

The scarf is very pretty. Does it stay securely woven when it's worn, or does it ever lose fibers? Forgive me if this is a rude question to ask a weaver; I know absolutely nothing at all about weaving.
