Lotus Box

This design started life as a challenge for our Japanese embroidery group on Stitchin Fingers. The original picture from The Grammar of Chinese Embroidery shows no details of the stitches used on the original it's only a coloured line drawing. The challenge was to interpret the drawing in our own way.
