I've been wanting to stitch the kokopelli image on something for quite awhile and thought this weeks TAST running stitch challenge would work out just fine.

Lovely work Jeanette, such a lot of movement.
I bought a Kokopelli t-shirt in Arizona as I was told he was a trickster spirit/god. Only after I started wearing it was I told he was also a fertility symbol! Fortunately my family size stayed the same.
Thank you for your kind comment on my pattern darning samples.

Comment by Jeannette on March 13, 2012 at 11:40 Thank you very much everyone for such nice comments! A couple of years ago I spent a week in Arizona visiting family and there were these Kokopelli images everywhere. Kokopelli is a hunchbacked Flute Player who is a mythical Hopi symbol of fertility, replenishment, music, dance, and mischief.
