Blue Button Badge of Courage

The Button is surrounded by Knotted Buttonhole Stitch, the top is the Beaded Hedebo Edging, and I added some metallic and rayon Drizzles for flare and shine. I made this little badge for myself after getting 35 or more stitches in my leg above my ankle, surviving the stitches, and looking towards full recovery (without a visit to the Wound Care Center) in the next couple months!

I love this button and have been saving it for something special. Who knew it would be me?!

ouch  that sounds very painful,   you will need to rest your leg,  a very good excuse for more stitching. Hope you heal quickly, and yes you deserve your badge of courage.

A very interesting use of the stitches.  Sorry to hear about your accident and the stitching the Drs had to do.  Wishing you a speedy and uneventful recovery
