Phew, have caught up on the January stitches.
I have chosen to use some old linen fabric my mother gave me from her stash. You may correcly identify the colour as from the 70's!! It was a challenge to choose colours to use with it. The weave is also rather loose, so it was a bit limiting, but did allow me to include the holes aas part of the effect.
I have decided to create a book to record my TAST 2012 project, with page for each month, so now back to it to get February up to date before next Tuesday!!!

Comment by Oma Rose on February 17, 2012 at 6:59 Shirley, I am not sure if the fabric is Cork Linen. I remember Mum talking about 'mogashel' linen, is that the same?
Comment by Carol-Anne on February 17, 2012 at 5:54 You did a great job selecting colours to go with the background. I really like your page, there is so much of interest on it.

Comment by Shirley on February 17, 2012 at 1:58 Is that Cork Linen it is lovely to work on. Your sampler is lovely and I like the soft colours.
It is going to be a wonderful sampler book, Oma. I love the button hole wheels how they have a hole in the middle!! The colours you chose are very complimentary to the background, you did well.
