Week 5-Herringbone-Explorations

We have completed the first five weeks of "Take a Stitch Tuesday" with Sharon Boggon. I have not only learned how to do the five stitches, but I am starting to undertand how to USE the stitches, to make them mine. Here is the explorations page completed.

An excellent way to incorporate the stitches Cheryl, love it.

I like the way you did the flower. Instead of totally filling in the flower you let the print on the fabric show and only highlighted some areas to add some depth.

Quite beautiful, and rich but playful colors! Great idea for an exploration page.
