This is a design from the book "Crewel Twists" but worked in my own colour scheme and mounted as a box lid.

Tina, the  whole design was worked with stranded threads, mostly 2 strands, a mixture of Anchor Stranded and DMC Stranded.

This is lovely - I really like your colour scheme. The book is on my wishlist, and I think, now, it's just been moved to the top of the list  :-)
