I went to your blog to see more of this and I think it looks fantastic! Jack was a bit of a 'dull boy' in his original form.

As a side note...I quilt with huge stitches too...even use a doll needle to help with it and the pearl cotton thread I prefer to use. I admire the small stitches that others use, but I prefer bold.
