I worked the stitch into a curve using the french knots to anchor the thread

;) Queenie its two Italian border stitches... the join is in the top of the curve :) but I discuiesed it with a french knot arm :)

White on white is so pure looking isn't it Margaret. Only the shadows hinting at stitches...

This must be the widest spread of the 'arms' I have seen on an Italian Border stitch. Fascinating, and yes, it would make a good lettering stitch.

I took Liberties.. I guess that's because most of my ancestors are Italian :) State mi ben ne? :)
