Hardanger & Bargello Doily "Twisted Ribbon"

I just finished this morning, it is 19-1/2 inches square and stitched on pewter 25 ct Lugana with white, two shades of gray and lots of high luster silver.

Sorry, I check in, but haven't posted anything in a while.  When I saw this piece, I just had to say something, like...WOW!  I have never seen anything like that done before.  Truly elegant!  I wonder where the idea for this came from.  One of a kind.  Gorgeous!
