HAND COLOURED FABRIC

Earlier today this was part of an old white cotton pillowcase that had seen better days but I needed some colour therapy. I'm thinking that I'll use it in an art quilt. Perhaps some applique and embroidery. i just got the book "Creative Quilts from your Crayon Box" in the post this morning so I can see some melted crayon colouring in my appliques. The dark bit in the photo is my shadow as I took the pic!

I can hardly believe this was an old, worn-out white pillow case. It is now so absolutley gorgeous! Talk about breathing new life into fabric.

Gorgious colour  -  it doesn't needed embellishing, but wish it was mine  -  would be adding stitches everywhere  -  you certainly got your colour therapy and passed it to us  -----thankyou.

Looks great Hazel.  I'm doing some papers at the moment.  Having a ball.
