Thanks Sharon!  These are in fact 16th and 17th century patterns - mostly Italian, that I've drafted up myself from museum photos. The majority of these are going to be in my upcoming book.

I have really enjoyed watching this and clicked through to see your blog - gosh it's a lovely sampler. It reminds me of an Italian sampler I saw int eh the V&A collection - it was about 17th century.
