Goldwork Pumpkin

The pumpkin is my goldwork Certificate class project I completed August 2009 at the Royal School of Needlework in England. The design was drawn by our daughter. Stitched on silk fabric with various gold threads, beads and cotton floss.

Thanks Shirley! I love my pumpkin. Next week I start the Diploma Classes in San Francisco, my first class will be another gold work project. I will share pictures when I return home.

This is such a beautiful piece I notice it every time I look at the site to see what's new. Your work is wonderfully precise, and I think the area with the sequins and beads is just the right touch.
