I did see on the other image it was silk, but the added information I did not know. Thank you for sharing. It is truly beautiful work.

These are embroidered with Japanese flat silk using two strands at a time. The colour change uses a blend of both colours to move from one to the other, I use two lot of needles and thread at this point. J
