A well composed design, great fabric choices, the quilting produces the right textures throughout. I really like this block!

I love it.  The rippling quilting, the slightly irregular shapes of the various battlements, the angular quilting on the right tower to suggest stones, the colors.

This is the first castle I made in my class with Pamela Allen. It is machine quilted, not too well, as I am still learning.
