Elf Shoes!

Elf Shoes! Made from felt and embellished with beads, bullion roses, tiny sequins and beads. These are so quick and fun to make. They are inspired by my Slippers for the May Queen - of course there isn't the room for an embroidered verse on the sides.

Sounds like quite a character. Poor wee fellow - probably thinks that all cats are gods and we are his servants. Rather delusional, but cats often seem to feel that way about their people.

Thank you so much! After thinking it over I will probably make them for my daughter's cat who is really funny. He spends a lot of time going around like someone has put a stick up his behind. And his normal expression is one of indignant disbelief combined with confusion. He's quite a cat. She once dressed him up in some miniature rubber gloves I'd found. I'm not sure if I still have that picture butit was pretty funny.

Ha! What a laugh - if you did try them on your cat you would have to post a picture for us. Must be a very patient cat! I'll sort out a pattern and some instructions and email them to you through this site (you'll need to accept a friend request from me for me to email you first). As I've said, it's all a bit made-up so the instrctions will be a bit home-made. Give me a day or so...

Meg, they are so cute! Any chance you could share the pattern with me? I'm thinking they might fit my cat...

Thanks Ann. They are about 8 or 9 cm long (about 3 1/2 inches).

Adorable!  How big/small are they?

Hi Nicki, would you like me to email you a pattern and some instructions? The pattern and instructions will be a bit "home made", but I am sure you can still have fun with them.

I just love these and would love the pattern to try making a pair.  Beautifully made!
