Dreaming of Spring Journal Page Finished

Dreaming of Spring Journal Page Finished

My "Dreaming Of Spring" journal Page took me 3 1/2 months to complete. This page is 8 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches long. I used many different kinds of stitches to create this journal page. I used the Scroll, Bullion, French Knot, Raised Chain Band, Ghiordes Knot, Cast-On Buttonhole, Detached Buttonhole, Drizzle, Long and Short and Up and Down stitch.

Stunning colors, composition, impressive variety of stitches and beautiful ribbon work!! Another huge endeavor! It's clear why it took 3 1/2 months to finish!

Hello Elly,  There is Many Many Good books out there to help you learn embroidery stitches.  The ones I really like allot are called the A-Z series of books published by Country Bumpkin of Australia.   I think you can find them on Amazon too.  They have two books called A-Z Embroidery Stitches  and A-Z Embroidery Stitches 2.  Hope this helps  Hugs Judy
