i immediately thought of the Welsh Dragon "Y Ddraig Goch". He is too beautiful for words. The effect of the gold and red is of luminous dragon skin covered in precious scales and those wings would certainly clang like cymbals.

All goldwork - it was stitched onto linen in sections, which were then cut out, mounted onto card, and assembled.

Did you weave this or is the dragon part fabric and part goldwork, or all goldwork. This work of yours is jaw dropping....excellent.
