Down Lawsons Fork

A thread painting on silk of Lawsons Fork, the only stream in Spartanburg County that begins and ends in the county running 29 miles. It travels through five mill villages, behind a university campus and a country club. It is a popular stream for kayaking and hiking.

This is my favorite also--the 'inspiration' photo had just the right elements to show the luminosity of the silk, dark trees and the light on the water.  I'm glad you think I captured that.
