They are probably about 36" wide and maybe around 30" high.  They are wall hangings.  Yes, it was sort of a sad commentary on our textile mill heritage in Spartanburg County.  The peaches and other farm crops and the textile mills created our economy and grew our cities until jobs were shipped overseas.  The mills for the most part have sat idle and the cause of this massive fire was never really determined but it brought down that huge brick building and all of the hardwood floors and machinery remaining inside.  However, there is a college environmental studies building erected there and the Lawson Fork stream has been reviatlized for recreational use and the old iron bridge is being preserved.  So, there are many in our county who value our heritage and want to see it preserved.

what a shame to lose this mill in a fire. What size are these pieces Jody, trying to visualise them in my mind.
