Thank you, Catherine.  I use plastic curtain rings.  Try to avoid the metal ones unless you're not worried about weight as they are very heavy.

These are lovely Hazel. I have only just discovered Dorset buttons and I am wondering what do you use for the rings? I am having trouble finding a good ring. I welcome your ideas. Thank you
