This is on the back of Daddys page. I got this design off of a paper that my brother, Keith, had doodled when he was in high school. He had done it in pencil and the red parts were actually totally black, but I thought the red added pop to it. I copied the page before giving all his school stuff to his daughter.

Comment by Diane Watson on June 18, 2012 at 8:55 Thank you all for the wonderful comments! It does remind me of the zentagles. I have done a few of those and actually way back in high school in the late 70's I did some drawings in art class that I called abstract but were really like what are called zentagles today! hahaha
Margaret, it is a great way to preserve some of our loved ones art. I bet you will find some of your granddaughter's scribbles to use.
Comment by Elaine Wilding on June 18, 2012 at 7:35 This is just what a string for zentagles looks like and they fill in the areas with different designs Like you have. Or for us different stitches. I think this would really showcase different stitches in a really nice way. Your work is very cutting edge right now and I love your creative nature. Great stitches Hugs Elaine
