Thank you, very much for your kind comments.  This was an on-line course by Trish Burr to teach long and short stitch.  I was an excellent course and I really enjoyed stitching this design.

This is lovely Carol-Anne. The kingfisher seems quite alive, he is definitely 'looking' at a fish in the water (LOL)!
