Celtic knots on T shirt

Satin stitch embroidery on a much worn t-shirt I made for the past summer. The embroidery looks a bit weary now, as it's been washed so often, but I still love it.

Thank you, everyone for your kind words.  I love the complexity of the knots and of course they are so evident in the Book of Kells.

as a Celt myself ( not that there ever was such a tribe..it was a term given to wandering European tribes by the Romans) being a mix of Welsh, Scottish and English......I have always found these symbols very moving

It still looks wonderful. Great stitching and a wonderful way to take a plain shirt to beauty. hugs Elaine

it's stood up well to the wash, the stitching must have been solid in the first place.
