Thank you. I have just tried them myself. I do really like the stitch and I am sure I will use them frequently. Including Sharon's Stitch Dictionary, I found these links.

Have fun. It won't take you long to get them. I know that having already learned how to pull the thread through the loops on the needle, like the bullion stitch, it was fairly easy.

Lovely work Theresa,
Is there a tutorial on these cast on's?
At the moment I am working on a charity embroidery for Breast cancer... and would like to try this stitch.
I have managed to teach myself to do a decent Bullion leaf and flower shapes...BUT want to try to learn these cast on shapes too.
