centre of whole piece (wip)

An exercise in discipline. I want to fill this whole piece of Aida (from the UK - so soft and good to stitch on) with stitches and combination stitches. I keep thinking I'll run out of ideas then find I haven't.

Thank you, everyone, for your encouragement.  I'm working on it, but it's slow going.

That is wonderful. Trying all those combinations of stitches and then you will always have a beautiful sampler to look back on. Keep going and keep us updated. Happy Stitching hugs Elaine

Thank you, Karen.  Yes, I'm having a lot of fun and I'm enjoying the whole process.  Not my favourite type of embroidery, I prefer surface embroidery, but this is good for learning and discovering.

This is pretty.  Isn't it fun to decide what to stitch next and to wonder and anticipate the outcome?  I will be looking forward to your progress.
