Birth

This is my sampler for the third week of Sharon’s class Personal Library of Stitches. The embroidery is 3 x 4 inch. I used Portuguese stem stitch, herringbone stitch, rope stitch and a lot of chain stitch variations. I enjoyed working on this embroidery!

Thanks Annet - beginnings on two accounts! - three days!  Time well spent, I'd say!

Thanks Connie. I called it 'Birth', because it looks like there's some creature crawling out of the bottom part of my embroidery. It also marks a new starting point in my embroidery. It only took me 3 days to stitch this.

Wonderful stitching -love the colors!  Why did you name it, "birth"?  I like to know the meaning behind titles.  Just lovely!
