This has no real name though it reminds me of english gardens.
I bought a bag of scrap material off the net in pink ,it contained small squares of pink organza ,which had had a circle cut out of them.And this is what this art quilt is made mostly of.

Comment by Faye C on September 13, 2012 at 18:09 Thanks Renata, its meant to branches and I made them by wrapping thread around strands of thread,could have used coloured wire but didn't have any at the time.
There is some lovely old Irish poems and one speaks about the monk in his dell with a black bird to ring the bell(call the times for prayer) and I guess that influenced this quilt .
