WOODSTOCK PRAYER FLAGS

Some time back i made some mini flags on victorian and hippie moto's.
Have recycled them into some modern flags because i feel these are things we need to bring into our modern world.

This surely brings me back to my youth of hitch hike from concert to concert and camping by the river with hundreds of others for weeks at concert that seemed to never end. Way to fun and full of love from all .As well as a really sad time of my friends coming home in boxes from the war.The message is still the same as it was years  ago and will always remain that we all should learn to love each other and this beautiful planet. I stitched some of the names of my friends into my jeans by the camp fire and words love and peace as well and I wore them proud until there was nothing left of them. giggle. This piece and these thought  brought tears to my eyes , but the memories are still so wonderful of a time now gone and people gone that i loved dearly. I was just a hippie girl  so long ago.

Your flags are always creative, full of  life, and offer good wishes to us all.  You make me feel safer in this world  when I view your work.
