Art Fairie
This is a sample for a Photoshop Elements class I'm teaching in the fall. The center is a digital collage using lots of brushes, layers and images. I added a bit of fabric paint (using a bubble wrap "stamp" and sequin waster stencil) to jazz up the batik background. I used my Sizzix die cutter to make the black and white fabric swirls and the swirl quilting templates.
Approx 9" x 11".

Not quite sure what to say... This is not a style I generally like, but there is something definitely appealing about this. I love the color and the repeat of the swirls. I guess I'm just not knowledgeable enough to pinpoint what else draws me to it.

It is too bad you're so far away or we could get together for a play day!
Some of the sites that sell digital downloads for scrapbooking also have great newsletters that are full of tips and techniques. I don't scrapbook, but I have learned a lot from them. Am I allowed to mention them by name? There is some good magazines as well.

This is amazing Kathy. I'm very interested in photo altering, enhancing. I love the cool colours in this and the totally different print swirls, how excellent. Sadly, I'm nowhere near this level yet.........
