Thank you Linda.  The spray was inspired by a card my grandmother's brother had given their father.  It appears he was very young when he gave him the card with a Bible verse.  Nicola, this may well end up a wall hanging quilt.  I am still considering framing these in pairs which wouldn't be quite as bad as 12 individual framed pieces.  Terry, thank you.  I have 3 original keys and some were found at an antique shop just down the block from where I work.  She had several for $1 a piece.  Thank you all again for all the wonderful comments.

So, so beautiful! (Where did you find all of the different keys you have used so far?)

So your intention is a quilt to hang on the wall??Far too detailed and precious to use.I was going to suggest you frame them as a set but 12 is a lot to do that with

Connie, this is superb.  I just love your purple toned spray and that little dragonfly motif is beautiful too, not to mention the overall composition.  Your work is always so well executed.

Thank you all for such nice comments.  I really appreciate them.  Nicola, I am doing a series of 12 blocks and I think at the end of the year I will do a wall hanging with all of them together.  My other option is to add borders and frame the companion (family and family home blocks) together.  I would enjoy hearing other ideas if anyone wants to share?
