Applique and freehand machine stitching

Applique and freehand machine stitching

Was asked by a friend at super short notice if I could make something for her partners mother who is a sheep farmer. So I got to making this last night. Hopefully she'll be happy with this! I made a mini version as the birthday card. I use bond-a-web to hold the fabric in place and then stitch using a darning foot over the top.

a very lucky lady to be recieving this and love the way you have done a baby version as a card, all in one evening too.

Very sweet.  Sheep are always a fun subject for applique.
