This was inspired by a photo I took in our own gardens. This is our state butterfly, Zebra Longwing, and the flowers are from the Hamelia paten, or Firebush plant, which butterflies, bees and hummingbirds love.

This butterfly is a joy to watch.  It is a slow mover, not like some that dart here and there so quickly you can hardly photograph them.
