To change your email settings
On "My Page" go to your "Settings" in the top right hand corner area
Click on it
Once you are on your settings page go to "Email" in the top left hand corner area
Click on it
Once in your email settings you have options to receive email notification for messages sent to you, the groups you belong to etc.
If you don't want to receive them turn them off by unchecking the check box.
